At St. Thomas Apostle School, 3rd graders will explore the world of taste, smell, and texture with our Sensory Science STEM Program. Students will learn how scientists study food and beverages, participate in hands-on tasting activities, and discover how sensory analysis helps companies like PepsiCo create products people love.

At Armour STEM Magnet School, 7th graders will explore the science behind everyday drinks through our Beverage Chemistry STEM Program. In this hands-on lesson, students will learn how to define pH and experiment with how substances like baking soda can alter pH levels and cause visible color changes.

PepsiCo Career Exposure Day offers students a unique opportunity to explore career pathways within a global food and beverage company. Hosted at PepsiCo’s Chicago office, the event includes a guided office tour, an overview of PepsiCo’s diverse portfolio, and career spotlights from professionals in Research & Development, Marketing, Sales, and other corporate roles. Participants will also gain practical experience through hands-on resume writing and interview preparation workshops designed to support their professional growth.
